Why is cheese so expensive? It's all about the production: it is made on only one farm in the world - in the special nature reserve Zasavica. It takes more than 4 liters of donkey milk to produce just 1 kg of cheese. This rare cheese is made from 60% donkey milk and 40% goat milk, which requires many months of processing. It is also worth considering that the donkey produces about 4 liters of milk per day and only six months of the year.
